photography club
Who is in Photo Club?
Photo Club is open to all students with an interest in photography. Experience in a darkroom is recommended, but not required.
What do we do?
Most students use the open darkroom and studio time to work on their own darkroom or digital imagery. Still interested but never been in a darkroom, we can buddy you up with a more experience person as a mentor the first few times until you get a feel for it.
When/Where do we meet?
We meet twice a month, alternate Thursdays, in room 334 / the Photo Lab from 3:10-4:10pm
How do I join?
Photo club has an open membership; you can join any time during the school year.
What do I need?
If you are planning to work in the darkrooms you will need BW film and photo paper. Most students have their own cameras, however if you are not ready to make the investment you can sign out a rangefinder camera to see if you like it. Want to work digitally instead? You will need imagery to work with and to purchase ink jet paper if you are planning on printing that imagery.
